ScanTech Offshore strengthens its leadership team in Nigeria 

To support the continued growth of our business in Nigeria, ScanTech Offshore is delighted to announce the appointment of Oghale Ogheneyole as operations manager, and Bello Ojeifo as technical sales manager.

These new appointments work towards our commitment to ongoing investment in our facilities, equipment, and people to meet the anticipated increase in demand for our specialist technologies and services in Nigeria which will aid in the reduction of stranded gas and gas flaring.

Ogheneyole Oghale, operations manager

As operations manager, Oghale will be responsible for the development and management of a support structure to improve the productivity of our Nigeria operations and facilitate the achievement of the company’s vision to become the number one provider of gas to power and gas compression services in country. [JC1] He will oversee the implementation of further improvements to our local infrastructure to support our existing customers’ equipment and create new sales opportunities.  In addition, he will drive the continual improvement of our service delivery to our core well-test support business. With his vast industry experience, Ogheneyole will help to drive a positive work culture while serving as a dedicated point of contact for operations in Nigeria.

Ogheneyole shares his thoughts on his new role:

“I’m happy to be part of this great company with exciting employees, and will be able to bring on board my years of experience in the oil and gas service sector to build a formidable team that will be well-positioned to take the lead in services delivery in the Nigeria and West Africa region.”

Ogheneyole brings over 17 years of experience to his new role, having held senior positions in power plant maintenance, production enhancement, and production solutions equipment in the energy services sector at Halliburton and Cement Bond Nigeria Ltd. He is a qualified mechanical engineer with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Bello Ojeifo, technical sales manager.

In his new role as technical sales manager, Bello will be responsible for business development, sales growth, and optimisation of the business’ products and services. This includes gas engines, gas turbines, gas compressor packages and gas-to-liquid solutions, as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) service provision for the oil and gas industry. Bello’s appointment underlines our strategic growth plans for West Africa as we look to cement our position in the gas power solutions services sector and further strengthen our position in the region.  

Bello, adds

“This role strategically provides the network and opportunity to support and partner with critical players in the industry, developing various business solutions customised to address  customers’ exact wants and needs while maintaining reliability and efficiency to their assets.”

Bello Ojeifo joins us as technical sales manager and brings with him a wealth of experience to his new role, having held a variety of management positions in technical sales, operations and logistics in the energy and power sectors. He is a qualified engineer with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. 

We’re delighted  Ogheneyole and Bello have joined our team and extend a very warm welcome to them both. We wish them every success in their new positions at ScanTech.
